One Piece’s Devil Fruit Nike Collaboration Includes Three Air Max Plus Colorways

Earlier this month, Sole Retriever reported that the legendary anime One Piece would be launching a collaborative capsule with Nike that included apparel and accessories. At the time, sneakers weren’t 100% confirmed, but with Nike involved, why wouldn’t we get some footwear themed after the One Piece universe? Well… it’s now officially confirmed. Nike will launch three Air Max Plus colorways to go alongside its One Piece apparel capsule.
Like the apparel, Nike’s One Piece Air Max Plus colorways will all reference the Devil Fruits. In the One Piece universe, these fruits are eaten by characters to receive powerful effects, with the Nike collection featuring an Air Max Plus and clothing for the Gomu Gomu no Mi, Mera Mera no Mi, and Ope Ope no Mi. As of now, there are no photos of the apparel or sneakers, but the color schemes do match one another and match the respective Devil Fruits.
Since debuting in anime form in 1999, One Piece has gone on for over 1,100 episodes and 21 seasons, with new ones still being released to this day. The franchise is no stranger to the footwear world, previously working with Vans, Puma, and most recently, atmos and Crocs on a Luffy Gear 5-inspired Classic Clog. As for Nike, this will mark their second collab with a popular anime franchise after launching a Yu-Gi-Oh! collab earlier this year.
The One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus Pack will be released alongside collaborative apparel in Fall 2026 (July-September) through Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
