We’ve had our eye on Nike’s Foamposite revival obsession lately, but this might be our favorite yet, retro or brand-new. Following a revival of the OG Foamposite silhouettes as retro lifestyle models, along with new pairs of Foam-influenced hoops shoes like the GT Future and GT Cut 4, not to mention rumors of an upcoming Nike SB Foamposite, the Nike Zoom x Vapor Posite tennis shoe is finally getting its own unlikely revival.

Foam Fire in Straight Sets

The concept of a Foamposite-style tennis shoe is nothing new, with the Courtposite debuting in 2002 with the help of Andre Aggasi and immediately getting pushback for how stiff it was. In 2019, Nike came back with the Zoom Vapor X Posite, but the shoe never got its fair shake, instead immediately making its way to discount stores and sale bins. Now, the timing is perfect to give the silhouette a real chance.
