NBA All-Star Weekend was packed full of limited releases and debuts. The All-Star Warning Label Pack from Nike stole the show, while New Balance was able to squeeze some press around the Kawhi 5 during the game. But honestly, the biggest hit from the weekend, which came as a surprise to many, was the debut of the latest overseas Nike Basketball model, the ST Charge. Cade Cunningham wore a PE version that was part of the Warning Label Pack, and as expected with the ST (Street Tough) series, reports said it was exclusive to the Asian market. Lo and behold, Sole Retriever can report that the ST Charge is expected to launch in the US.

The first Nike ST Charge to drop in the US will be a PE colorway for Cade Cunningham, but exactly what it looks like is a mystery at this point. We know the color scheme features sail, metallic silver, thunder blue, aluminum, light crimson, and bright crimson shades. Following Cade’s PE in May, other player-exclusive and special editions of the model will hit shelves, and then in Holiday 2026, GRs will start to be released.

Public perception around this new model has been overwhelmingly positive. Social media posts of the sneaker have gone viral, and people in the comments are praising the look. Not something that’s super common in this space, where basically anything that isn’t a super hype retro gets trashed on in comment sections. With Cade Cunningham seemingly being the US face of the sneaker, likely up until he gets his own signature sneaker, the model appears to be in good hands.

Cade Cunningham’s Nike ST Charge Detroit Tough PE will be released in May 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140. GR colorways of the sneaker will be $10 cheaper. As we wait for first looks at Cade’s PE and the other releases of the sneaker, keep it locked to the Sole Retriever mobile app for real-time alerts on the latest drops.
