Nike Signs Baylor QB Sawyer Robertson to NIL Deal
Quick Facts
- Baylor QB Sawyer Robertson has signed an NIL deal with Nike
- The school has a partnership with Nike, making this signing all the better
- Expect to see Sawyer take part in Nike campaigns in the future

Baylor has started the college football season with two wins and one loss, but senior quarterback Sawyer Robertson has been putting on a clinic. He’s thrown at least three touchdowns in every game and racked up more than 400 yards in the air in a double-OT win over #17 SMU and a loss last week against Auburn. When you put up those kinds of numbers, people take notice. Heading into a home game against Arizona State this weekend, Robertson has officially joined the Nike family with an NIL partnership.
Announced in a shared Instagram post from Nike, Robertson, and Baylor Football, the ad shows Robertson mid-pass with the tagline “Born to Hunt” above a Swoosh. Baylor is a Nike-sponsored school, so Robertson should have plenty of green cleats in his closet already, but we’re hoping for some PEs to hit the turf in Texas soon.
Nike has been active behind center this football season, signing Penn State QB Drew Allar and LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier, along with Robertson. Still, if you ask us, New Balance is the early-season football sponsorship champ with its work on the NFL side and the surprise signing of Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
The specifics of Sawyer Robertson’s deal haven’t been announced, and there’s no player edition product yet, but knowing Nike, he’s done eating in the dining hall, and the PEs are on the way soon.
