Of course, there are the obvious stars like Jordan and LeBron, but at the highest peak of the signature mountain, the KDs and Kobes of the world are joined by a pro skater from SoCal’s San Fernando Valley named Paul Rodriguez. As P-Rod’s first signature shoe continues its first retro return, the skate industry All-Star is showing out for the NBA’s All-Star weekend in his hometown.

The Nike SB Paul Rodriguez Zoom Air Low Sport Red Metallic Gold has been floating around the ether with leaks and early previews from P-Rod himself, but with All-Star selections set, Nike is gearing up for the drop with some official photos of the red and gold pair inspired by the 2011 West All-Star jerseys worn by Paul’s hero, Kobe Bryant.

Coated in red suede with burgundy accents and gold hits on the Swoosh, branding, and tongue label, the All-Star pair adds a “West” label on the gold lace dubrae for more NBA tie-in. Don’t be surprised if you see Paul sitting courtside in Inglewood for the Dunk Contest.
