Nike has always been dedicated to keeping Kobe’s legacy alive through sneakers, and frankly, it’s not really their choice, with basketball players across the globe no doubt ready to riot if the Swoosh ever considered knocking off the Protro program. This year, though, the Kobe program has pushed a new off-court focus, giving Kobe-specific colorways of Dunks and Air Force 1s the Protro treatment.

The Nike Kobe Air Force 1 Steam is the latest pair added to the Mamba’s lifestyle collection, and after getting word of the pair’s impending arrival last fall, we’ve finally got an early image of the pair showing off the true color combo.
