The future is here. As AJ Dybantsa gets set to make his NBA debut alongside the rest of the incoming rookie class, Nike is prepping a new pair of the shoe Dybantsa helped debut last year. While we’ve seen more of the GT Future on the street than we have on the basketball court since AJ debuted the shoe last April, the silhouette is still technically a hoop shoe, and that means new colorways for a new season.

Fire Red Futures

The Nike GT Future Varsity Red first popped up on the Nike calendar last month, and with the drop coming up next week, Nike finally blessed us with a complete set of images, showing off the metallic red pair in all its glory. Bringing back a black and red theme that is all too familiar to sneakerheads, especially fans of the Hyperflight, the Varsity Red pair is a perfect match for youth league jerseys and throwbacks alike.
