Cameron Brink and the Los Angeles Sparks are off to a bit of a slow start in the early goings of the new WNBA season, but hopefully, that will all change with a new pair of shoes. As New Balance continues to dive deeper into the performance basketball lane, the Boston-based brand tapped Brink to debut the all-new low-top iteration of the P400 basketball shoe.
Lightweight Tech, Strong Performance
The New Balance P400 Low is the second version of the P400 we’ve seen, following the original mid-ankle version that dropped at the beginning of the year. On the low-top version, New Balance chopped the collar down and lowered the foot bed, making the silhouette a little lighter, but otherwise kept the P400 bones the same with N-Lock technology for stability, a TPU upper structure, and the bouncy cushioning.
"The P400 Low is engineered for athletes like Cameron who need to move freely without losing lockdown, Kevin Trotman, Senior Product Manager for New Balance Basketball, said. ‘The lowered collar and N-Lock technology work together to give you mobility and support throughout the entire game.”
