New Balance continues its winning streak with a series of refreshing colorways gracing its timeless 550 silhouette. After getting first looks at the "Grey Suede" and "Blue Suede" editions, New Balance brings forth the 550 once more in an alluring "Seafoam Green" shade. The color selection may also call to mind the recent Air Jordan 4 “Seafoam.”
This iteration of the New Balance 550 features a mixture of leather, suede, and mesh. Seafoam green suede dominates the mudguard and the "N" logo. This charming hue continues onto the tongue tag, heel tab, and "550" insignia near the toe box. Enhancing the theme, seafoam green mesh is tastefully deployed on the collar, sockliner, and heel tab. For the rest of the upper, we see New Balance employ white leather. Completing the aesthetic are the cream midsole and seafoam green outsole.
The New Balance 550 Seafoam Green will release this year through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
