New Balance Treats the 550 to Grey Suede

New Balance is at it again with a reinterpretation of the 550. Joining with the reveal of the "Blue Suede" colorway, New Balance takes a more neutral approach with the 550 "Grey Suede."

The "Grey Suede" version of the New Balance 550 shares the same build as its "Blue Suede" sibling, only drenched in the titular shade. The upper is dominated by hairy suede and maintains a monochromatic aesthetic. Light grey mesh serves as the base layer, providing a textural contrast to the suede. White branding details span across the tongue tag, "550" text, and heel tab's "NB" logo. The only exception is the "N" logo, which matches the grey theme. A white midsole and cream outsole bring the design full circle.

The New Balance 550 Suede Grey will release on September 29, 2023 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
