New Balance has given us plenty of 550 colorways since reviving the model in 2020, and a new slew of releases are coming to us exclusively in women’s sizing. Like the recently revealed “Sea Salt Green” colorway, this same cream base will arrive with blue hits for “Sea Salt Blue."
The upper features a mix of materials, including suede panels on the mudguard, perforated midfoot, and nappy heel overlay, each rendered in varying shades of tan. White leather on the toe box pairs well with grey-shaded leather on the midfoot panel. The iconic "N" logo, mesh on the vamp, and nubuck overlay on the collar pop with a delightful blue. Branding logos on the tongue come executed in a blue, grey, and white combo. The heel’s tan finish is accented by a cream rubber portion sandwiched between the upper and sole unit, the latter of which appears in monochromatic grey.
The New Balance 550 Sea Salt Blue (W) will release in July through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
