Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 18 Appears in a New EYBL Colorway

Youth hoopers today have it good. If you reach top prospect levels and play for the likes of Nike’s EYBL (Elite Youth Basketball League), you’re often blessed with exclusive kicks no one else will have a shot at owning. Virtually all of Nike’s signature athletes have their shoes made up in special EYBL colorways, like Kevin Durant, who had his Nike KD 18 made for EYBL. We were lucky to have a shot at copping that metallic silver pair last year, but now a new EYBL-exclusive color scheme has emerged.
This new Nike KD 18 EYBL opts for a primarily sapphire blue finish on the silhouette, with accenting hits of voltage green spotted throughout. The latter of the two hues lines the Air Terra Humara-inspired midfoot cage on the lateral side, but is the main color used on the medial. This same inverted pattern is applied to the trimming as well, but branding features throughout stick to the voltage green hue. This includes the EYBL logo on the right sneaker’s tongue, the EYBL text running down the spine of the tongue on both pairs, and the KD logo on the left. Finishing the sneaker is the split sole unit, done in blue on the lateral side and voltage green on the medial.
Durant’s 18th signature sneaker is in its twilight days as we’re expecting the KD 19 to hit shelves in the next few months. If you’re not looking to cop his latest performance models, maybe the slew of KD 6 retro colorways coming will interest you. The first of these retro KD 6s is the All-Star pair, which drops February 27, with the PB&J, Meteorology, Brazil, Christmas, and Aunt Pearl pairs also confirmed for 2026.
