Nike is Bringing Back the KD 6 Aunt Pearl This Year

KD’s favorite shoe is back. Despite the near-unanimous sneaker head choice of the KD 4 as the pinnacle of the Slim Reaper’s signature Nike line, the future Hall-of-Fame forward was clear in a recent podcast interview, with his own choice of the KD 6 as his first draft pick from his 18 personalized silhouettes. Whether it was at KD’s direction or just the natural progression of Durant’s retro calendar, the KD 6 is back for 2026, including the best colorway from its OG 2014 run.

The Nike KD 6 Aunt Pearl is one of the best Aunt Pearl colorways in the KD line, adding an upper covered in pink floral print with branches and leaves between the blooming flowers. This is then mixed with bright blue accents on the KD and Nike branding and the tongue. The midsole is white, with more pink added on the outsole and a darker, brighter color of pink on the laces. To round it out, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund ribbon logo is added to the tongue, a tribute to Durant’s Aunt’s fight with cancer.

Beyond the Aunt Pearl colorway, the Nike KD 6 is returning for 2026 in a handful of classic colorways, including the PB&J, All-Star Gumbo, Meteorology, and Night Vision. Come to think of it, maybe Durant is on to something about the KD 6.

The Nike KD 6 Aunt Pearl retro doesn’t have a firm release date or pricing as of yet, but the colorway is expected to drop for Holiday 2026 in full-family sizing, giving us a long wait to build up even more hype.
