JuJu Watkins is Rumored to Get Two Nike GT Future Colorways Spring 2026

Nike unloaded the clip today on the SNKRS App with the Nike SNKRS Showcase. Previous renditions of the visual press release have spanned multiple product categories, but today, The Swoosh dropped a ton of info on upcoming performance and retro basketball sneakers. Included in this was the Nike GT Future, with the highly anticipated sneaker being revealed in three launch colorways: Fire, Metallic Silver, and Lightning. Outside of these officially confirmed releases, rumors have hit the ‘net that USC superstar JuJu Watkins will get two colorways on the sneaker.
As of this writing, no images of the potential JuJu Watkins x Nike GT Future colorways have emerged, though we did get a solid breakdown of the sneaker itself from Nike and the designers behind the model. The synthetic upper and internal bootie play host to some of Nike’s best performance basketball tech, including Zoom Air, Cushlon 3.0, and Zoom Strobel, while the outer shell of the sneaker harkens back to Nike’s Y2K era of footwear. More specifically, the sneaker draws influences from the Foamposite and Hyperflight.

The JuJu Watkins x Nike GT Future Collection is rumored to release in Spring 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
