Los Angeles Dodgers One Piece

The Los Angeles Dodgers may generate hate on baseball Twitter, but they’re still one of the most popular sports franchises on the planet. Not only are they en route to a potential three-peat after winning the World Series the last two years and having a strong outing so far this year with a 40-23 record, but outside IPs and collaborators continue to partner with the Dodgers. Next up on the official Los Angeles Dodgers collab list is a partnership with the hit anime One Piece.

One Piece x Los Angeles Dodgers History

This new collab with One Piece isn’t the first time the Los Angeles Dodgers have teamed up with the franchise. On July 3, 2025, the Dodgers hosted “One Piece Night,” which featured a giveaway of a One Piece straw hat mimicking the one worn by Luffy in the anime and a co-branded trading card. It went viral, and the card has sold for thousands of dollars on the aftermarket.

The 2026 Los Angeles Dodgers One Piece Game will take place on July 2, 2026 against the San Diego Padres.

How to Get the Dodgers’ One Piece Trading Card

In order to secure the Los Angeles Dodgers One Piece trading card and the Luffy-inspired straw hat, you’ll need to attend the Padres vs. Dodgers game on July 2, 2026. Tickets for the game were reasonably priced prior to the announcement of this giveaway, but as of this writing, the cheapest ticket to the game is just under $400.

The Dodgers will distribute the trading card straw hat to 40,000 ticketed fans. Make sure you arrive early if you plan on attending, as lines were long last year, and there are plenty of people who will try to get the card just to resell.

While we all wait for the Los Angeles Dodgers x One Piece event, we can look forward to a few different Dodgers-themed sneakers and even an official One Piece sneaker collab. Dodgers pairs include the SB P Rod 1 in a Dodgers away-esque color palette, a new Kobe 5 Protro that follows the Kobe 6 from last year, and a Kobe Air Force 1 Protro.

There was also the recently-released Undefeated x Converse x Los Angeles Dodgers collab which featured one pair for the Los Angeles squad and another for the team’s previous home, Brooklyn.

One Piece is actually doing an official collaboration with Nike later this year, which will be on three Air Max Plus colorways inspired by devil fruits. Alongside the sneakers is an apparel collection. Previous One Piece sneakers include a collab with Crocs, Puma, and Vans.
