Quick Facts

  • There are only a few photos of Balvin wearing the pair of 4s, but from what we can see, the colorway is a multi-color mix of brown or dark purple on the toe, black on the vamp, seafoam green on the medial side panel, ocean blue on the side panel midsole, and crimson red and violet on the outsole and midsole at the toe.
  • Balvin is a Jordan-sponsored artist who has collaborated with the brand in the past on 3s, 2s, and most notably, his bright, smiley, rainbow Air Jordan 1 High.
  • We don’t have any concrete info on the Air Jordan 4 J. Balvin was wearing on stage in Medellin, Colombia.

We’re always watching the shoes. From sports arenas to movie screens, sidewalks and subways to stadium concerts, we’re constantly looking down to stay up on what’s next. So when international superstar J. Balvin showed up at a concert back home in Colombia in a never-before-seen pair of Air Jordan 4s, we started asking questions.

There are only a few photos in the post by photographer Ivan Achao of Balvin wearing the pair of 4s, but from what we can see, the colorway is a multi-color mix of brown or dark purple on the toe, black on the vamp, seafoam green on the medial side panel, ocean blue on the side panel midsole, and crimson red and violet on the outsole and midsole at the toe. To us, it looks a little like a Viotech take on a pair of 4s.

Of course, Balvin is a Jordan-sponsored artist who has collaborated with the brand in the past on 3s, 2s, and most notably, his bright, smiley, rainbow Air Jordan 1 High. That said, we’ve also seen Balvin step out in custom Jordan colorways, including a custom 4, so there’s really no telling yet what this latest pair is.

We don’t have any concrete info on the Air Jordan 4 J. Balvin was wearing on stage in Medellin, Colombia. Whether it's an exclusive, an upcoming drop, or simply a custom, we’ll keep you updated on the Sole Retriever mobile app as soon as we learn more.
