Detailed Look at More adidas AE 3 Colorways

When adidas dropped Anthony Edwards’ original signature sneaker, the adidas AE 1, they quickly realized the hit they had on their hands. Plans for the AE 2 shifted radically as the lifespan of the first model lasted nearly two full years, but the lackluster response of the second model has fast-tracked the AE 3. Sole Retriever previously gave you an exclusive first look at the AE 3, but we now have more colorways to share.

Anthony Edward’s third signature sneaker sticks to a lower cut and goes back to a radical overlay design language that began with the original model. Triangular-shaped TPU overlays line the upper and act as a reinforcement. Tech specs haven’t been fully revealed, but according to our source, the model comes with full-length Light Boost in the midsole and a torsion plate in the outsole. Pictured are five of the first colorways to be released, including the launch pair, Cold Blooded (light blue), Snow Camo (grey and blue), Solar Silver (red and silver), With Love (orange and pink), and Aurora (pink and purple).

Interesting that adidas is kicking off the model with a frosty blue Cold Blooded rendition when both the AE 1 and AE 2 began with the With Love colorway. As mentioned, the AE 3 will get a With Love variant, though it’s expected in November, two months after the model’s first release. All five pairs will come in men's, kids', and toddler sizes.

The adidas AE 3 will be released in various colorways throughout the latter half of 2026 and all throughout 2027. Expect retail to be $130 for adult sizes.
