Concepts Shows Love to Women with adidas Taekwondo F50 Selene Collab

For decades, the sneaker industry was a boys club, run by a group of too-cool bros trying to flex on each other and pull the most obscure references possible. Luckily, the world and the shoe game have evolved, and women creatives, executives, and consumers have their fingerprints on every aspect of the industry and community. To celebrate the women who make the sneaker community move, Boston-based boutique Concepts is teaming up with adidas for a women’s exclusive Taekwondo F50.

The Concepts x adidas Taekwondo F50 Selene is a sleek, high-fashion inspired colorway with a diamond plate-like textured overlay across the entire upper. Starting with a purplish blue, nearly violet base, the swooping side panel Three Stripes and F50 logos are done in olive green, with yellow accents on the toe and heel, and soccer branding in black on the covered tongue sheath.

“At the heart of the collaboration is the idea of ‘Her Time, Her Touch.’” Concepts wrote. "It's a nod to the women who shape their worlds with intention and creativity - those constantly refining, redefining, and elevating what excellence means in their own lane.”
