Caitlin Clark Celebrates 24th Birthday in a New Black and Neon Green Kobe 6 PE

Caitlin Clark is entering her Kobe year. The sharp-shooting WNBA star is back from an injury that kept her out for most of last season, and she’s ready to go Mamba Mode on the league again after getting plenty of rehab training in with Team USA in the offseason. On her 24th birthday, Clark’s Indiana Fever squad set up a surprise with cake and candles, and in the video, Caitlin is already channeling another number 24.

First seen in a quick video from Fever practice earlier this week, we got a better look at a new Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE during the birthday celebration. Covered in black snakeskin armor that shows some green reflections in the light across the upper, the side panel Swoosh and outsole are glow-in-the-dark neon green for some bright contrast.

The sockliner adds a hit of vivid blue, and the heel support is a multi-color metallic that also changes color in the light. A red Kobe sheath logo on the tongue and a white midsole round out the colorway that looks a bit like an updated take on the Kobe 6 Supreme Chaos, with a bit of Superman-coded color with the red and blue on the tongue and sockliner.

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro Caitlin Clark PE has only been seen in a couple of quick on-foot looks, so we have no clue if this pair was made strictly for Caitlin or if it will eventually see a public release, like some past Kobe Caitlin PEs.
