The 2026 WNBA season is only a few months from kicking off, and players across the league are ramping up their prep for thenew campaign. One thing we’re all looking forward to this season is the debut of Caitlin Clark’s signature sneaker, but until she takes the court in the highly anticipated new Nike model, you’re bound to find her in a pair of Kobes. Now, just days after her Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE restocked at Foot Locker locations across the nation, Clark has been spotted in a new Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE.
Photographed by Indianapolis-based photographer Bri Lewerke, Clark was seen in the gym wearing this brand-new Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE, which comes with a white faux reptile skin upper. Accenting the stark white upper are black Swooshes and a mismatched color palette of blue and yellow, blue reserved for the right shoe and yellow on the left. These pops of color land on the heel counter and outsole, the latter done in a marbled ocean blue on the right and a solid yellow on the left. Finishing the sneaker is the red Kobe sheath logo on the tongue.
Caitlin has long been a fan of the Nike Kobe line, and even back in her NIL days with Iowa, she was rocking Bryant’s kicks. Her first PE came in the summer of 2024 after she was drafted by the Indiana Fever, with that pair being a black and yellow Kobe 5 Protro. Since then, she’s received PEs across both the Kobe 5 and 6, including a Cookie Monster Kobe 6, a Rookie of the Year Kobe 5, a Kobe inspired by her dog Bella, and, most recently, a Kobe 6 in neon green, black, and blue that she wore on her birthday.
Luckily, fans have had the chance to buy her Indiana Fever-themed Kobe 5 Protro PE and a Light Armory Blue PE of the Kobe 6 Protro. This year, we know Clark will release her Nike Kobe 5 Protro Rookie of the Year PE and, hopefully, launch her signature sneaker.
This new Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE for Caitlin Clark will remain exclusive to the Fever superstar, but as mentioned above, there are more Kobe Caitlin PEs on the way. Caitlin also said on her Instagram story that if you guess the theme correctly, she might send you a pair.
