Although everyone has been fixated on Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey for the last few months, with the film bringing in $264.1 million across the globe on its opening weekend, another juggernaut is preparing its marketing campaign. No, we’re not talking about Dune: Part Three, but the film directly competing for seats, Avengers: Doomsday. The latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has finally dropped its first full-length trailer, following an early look for CinemaCon attendees back in April.

Avengers: Doomsday Trailer

In the newly released trailer, we get our first official look at Robert Downey Jr., who for years played Iron Man throughout the MCU, as Dr. Doom. The villainous Doctor Victor von Doom did make a brief appearance in the post-credit scene for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, but we get to see the villain of the latest Avengers film face off against Chris Hemsworth’s Thor in a section of the new ad spot.

Other characters that make appearances in the trailer are several X-Men characters, like Professor Xavier, Magneto, and Gambit, as well as the Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts characters from last year’s MCU films. Check out the full trailer below.

Avengers: Doomsday Release Date

Disney has confirmed that Avengers: Doomsday will hit theaters across the globe on December 18, 2026. Tickets are on sale now for “InfinityVision” screens, which is essentially Disney’s new marketing term for large format screens at movie theaters since IMAX has an exclusive deal with Denis Villeneuve for Dune: Part Three.
