AURALEE Debuts its New Balance 204L Collection at Paris Fashion Week

Japanese fashion label AURALEE and Boston-based footwear brand New Balance have been pivotal partners in the last few years. The former’s runway shows often feature unreleased and upcoming New Balance sneakers that have been redone through AURALEE’s high-fashion lens, which rings true once more. Following up on the duo’s 475 Pack and a reveal of the T500 Pack, AURALEE’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in Paris revealed their take on the New Balance 204L.

New Balance will introduce the all-new 204L model later this year in collaborative and GR forms for those unfamiliar. The silhouette leans into recent trends in women’s fashion, where low-profile thin soles have taken priority. We got our first taste of the Miu Miu-like sneaker thanks to Basketcase’s greyscale take. Now, AURALEE has decided to render the model in two different colorways and with different material makeups.

One pair opts for a classic greyscale mix featuring cream, light blue, and grey across the mesh base and suede and leather overlays. The other option from AURALEE is done in a dark brown suede finish, with tonal hues of brown and black covering most of the upper. Contrasting the sneaker is the cream sockliner and sole unit. Both pairs contain standard branding details for the model, including the N logo on the midfoot, the NB logo on the tongue, and 204L on the lateral heel, forgoing any mention of AURALEE on the upper.

The AURALEE x New Balance 204L Collection will release in Spring/Summer 2026 through AURALEE, New Balance, and select retailers online and in-store.
