Arike Ogunbowale Debuted Another Nike Kobe PE, this Time Going Blood Red on the Kobe 5 Protro

And while Azzi rocks Jordans and Paige wears Nikes, it’s Ogunbowale whose hit the court running this season with the hottest PEs on the squad. After pulling out a snakeskin Kobe 6 Protro on opening night, Arike laced up another new PE this week, debuting a Kobe 5 Protro in monochrome red.

Arike Ogunbowale’s Mamba Mentality

Ogunbowale wore the new Nike Kobe 5 Protro Red PE during the Wings’ win against the Chicago Sky on Wednesday, drawing attention on the court paired with Dallas’ pitch-black jerseys. With snakeskin and blood red already covered, we’ll definitely be waiting to see what other PEs Arike wears this season.

On Ogunbowale’s Nike Kobe 5 Protro Red PE, all of the upper paneling and the Kobe sheath tongue logos are covered in bright red, while the Swoosh pops in metallic silver. Safe to say that Caitlin isn’t the only one with priority in the Kobe line this WNBA season.

Just like the snakeskin Kobe 6 Protro, there’s no word yet on whether Arike Ogunbowale’s Nike Kobe 5 Red PE will make it to retailers, but looking at Caitlin Clark and Jalen Brunson’s Kobe PEs, there’s always a shot.
