Millennial nostalgia is in full swing. The 30th anniversaries of Pokémon and Space Jam have already started to drain the bank accounts of 30-and 40-somethings obsessed with trying to relive the good ol’ days, and the collab product launches aren’t slowing down anytime soon. As we look ahead to the holiday season, Jordan is bringing out yet another Space Jam pair, this time reliving Mike’s first Tune Squad practice.

When Jordan first arrives at the spit-shined gym with his Looney Tunes teammates, he laces up a pair of black and white Air Jordan 9s that, while not as famous as the Space Jam 11 from the film’s final showdown, still took on the name of the movie for Jordan heads everywhere. Now, along with the OG 11s and another pair of behind-the-scenes-themed Green Screen 11s, the Jumpman is bringing back the Air Jordan 9 Space Jam Retro for the movie’s big birthday.

The rest of the shoe switches to white leather, with perforated paneling stretching up the ankle. The Jordan logo on the top of the tongue adds a hit of red to match the Jumpman on the lateral heel. Jordan Brand even went the extra mile and created special packaging referencing Space Jam and the film’s 30th anniversary.
Air Jordan 9 Retro Space Jam Release Details
The Air Jordan 9 Retro Space Jam will be released September 19, 2026, through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online.
