Everybody get up, it's time to slam now. We got a real jam goin' down. Welcome to the Space Jam. Here's your chance, do your dance at the Space Jam.
They just don’t make soundtracks like they did in 1996 anymore. It’s been 30 years since the Quad City DJs got that chorus stuck in our collective heads with the release of Space Jam, and for three decades, Jordan Brand has been keeping the Toon Squad flame lit. Now, with the 30-year anniversary celebration of the film in full swing, the Jumpman is set to once again retro the movie’s most famous shoe.
Space Jam’s Latest Retro Revival
The Air Jordan 11 Retro Space Jam was a star of the movie, just like Mike, Bugs, and the Monstars. In the three decades since, the pair has gone through the retro cycle a few times, with its last trip to retail coming back in 2026. 10 years later, the shoe returns in all its OG glory, mixing patent leather and an icy blue sole with royal blue branding.
The colorway starts with a classic coat of black patent leather on the toebox and wavy lower section of the side panels. The rest of the upper switches to a rough black mesh to match the black laces and sockliner. The midsole switches to white before diving into an ocean of icy blue on the outsole.
