Official Look at the Air Jordan 40 Infrared for NBA All-Star 2026

Jordan is running through a strong catalog of retro releases in the new year, but in addition to the early numbered releases in new and throwback colorways, the Jumpman is doing its best to match those drops with modern silhouettes in the same color palettes.

We’ve finally got a look at official images of the upcoming Air Jordan 40 Infrared, a black and infrared colorway of the latest numbered Air Jordan that takes inspiration directly from the Air Jordan 6 Retro Reverse Infrared that’s also dropping next month. After getting an early look at the colorway a few months back, Jordan is giving us a clear look at the shoe as we get closer to All-Star Weekend.

Following suit from the Reverse Infrared 6 Sample that’s finally dropping after its 1999 sample, the Air Jordan 40 Infrared keeps the upper simple in all black, adding Infrared on the outsole and Jumpman tongue logo. As for tech, the sneaker is packed with ZoomX foam and Zoom Strobel in the midsole for a comfortable on-court experience.

The Air Jordan 40 Infrared will be released February 2026 to coincide with NBA All-Star Weekend, through Nike and select Jordan retailers online and in-store.
