Jordan Brand may be a little conservative with its Air Jordan 14 output for the public, with only eight pairs released in the last three years, but that’s not the case for the label’s NCAA programs. Over the last few weeks, college hoops teams sponsored by Jordan have been unveiling their Jordan 14 PEs, and with eight teams revealed thus far, including SDSU, Howard, Florida, and UNC, the Cincinnati Bearcats have joined the party.

Where most of the Air Jordan 14 NCAA PEs have been either blue or red, the Bearcats join San Diego State with a neutral hue on the upper of the shoe. Instead of the deep grey used for SDSU, Cincy goes for a charcoal grey with premium ashy suede. Accenting this are solid black hits on the tongue, lace set, sockliner, and heel tab, the latter hosting red Jumpman and 23 branding. The Bearcats’ logo replaces the Jumpman typically found on the Ferrari-inspired badge on the collar. Finishing the model are carbon fiber and red on the midsole, metallic silver on the midfoot shank, and black on the outsole.

The Bearcats are no strangers to getting Jordan PEs. The program was actually one of the original NCAA schools sponsored by Jordan Brand, with MJ himself handpicking Cincinnati alongside North Carolina A&T and St. John's in 1997. In 2006, the Bearcats signed a deal with adidas, and in 2015, they jumped ship to Under Armour. The return to Jordan Brand began in 2023, with Air Jordan 4 PEs designed by Kelsey Amy being the first exclusive the school would receive. Since then, we’ve seen the school show off a variety of PEs, including the Jordan 40, Tatum 4, and Luka 4.

Like the rest of the NCAA Air Jordan 14 PEs, this Cincinnati pair will remain exclusive to the Bearcats. Check below for images of the sneaker, and download the Sole Retriever app for updates on the latest happenings in the sneaker world.
