College campuses are back in the swing of things with the fall semester, and that means basketball teams are in the gym getting ready for another NCAA season. At the University of Cincinnati, the equipment manager is just as busy as the players, trying to juggle dozens of pairs of player-exclusive Jordans.
In a new post to the Cincinnati Bearcats Basketball Instagram page, the Ohio hoopers showed off three pairs of new PEs in the team’s red, white, and black colorway: a Jordan 40, a Tatum 4, and a Luka 4. The Jordan 40 and the Luka 4 lean into home white jerseys, while the Tatum 4 is draped in red to perfectly match the team’s away uniforms.

The Jordan 40 starts with a greyish white upper (quite similar to the OG The Classic colorway) and an icy blue sole, features black on the lace and heel panels, and adds a Jumpman on the right tongue and a Bearcat “C” logo on the left. The Luka 4 puts white on the lateral side panels, red down the middle of the shoe, and a graphic print that we can’t quite make out in the Bearcats’ preview pics. The Tatum 4 is a patent leather powerhouse, starting with a shiny red toe, a white side panel with a red hole at the midsole, and wavy black lines snaking throughout the upper.
Cincinnati is the latest college hoops team to unveil its new Jordan PE lineup, but it isn’t the first, following Marquette, which also showed off a team-exclusive Jordan 40 and Luka 4.
