adidas Basketball's lineup has been expanding as we continue to see new models for James Harden, Donovan Mitchell, Trae Young, Anthony Edwards, and more on the adidas roster. Outside these signature athletes, their inline budget-friendly options, including the Adizero Select, have proven successful. Now, adidas is ready to launch the model’s second iteration, the Adizero Select 2.0.
The Adizero Select 2.0 is a fresh take on the well-received original version, designed to meet the demands of dynamic players. It features a low-top silhouette, which departs from its predecessor’s mid-top design, offering a sleeker and more agile feel. The upper is crafted from a soft textile material, providing comfort and durability. This textile is reinforced with additional material beneath the semi-transparent textile, ensuring robust support during high-intensity play.
Aesthetically, the Adizero Select 2.0 maintains the signature adidas look with the iconic Three Stripes prominently displayed on the lateral side while the heel overlay is adorned with the "Adizero" branding. The sneaker also features a neoprene tongue, which complements the overall look and ensures a snug and secure fit.
Down below sits a foam midsole equipped with adidas' cutting-edge Lightstrike cushioning. This technology provides a perfect balance of lightness and responsiveness, making it ideal for quick movements and jumps. The outsole is designed with a traction pattern that ensures excellent grip on the court, enhancing the player's control and stability during the game.
The adidas Adizero Select 2.0 is set to launch in a vibrant Lucid Lemon colorway on February 1, 2024, with additional colorways expected to follow in the coming weeks. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110. Keep up with the latest on this release and more by downloading the Sole Retriever mobile app.
