It’s Our Moment: Vans and K-Pop Demon Hunters Get Golden on an Old Skool for the Kids

If you have children anywhere in your life, you know that K-Pop Demon Hunters is a Frozen-sized sensation. The movie has been stuck on repeat for kids all over the globe, and beyond bringing K-Pop further into the American mainstream on film, the songs from the movie have truly crossed over, finding real success on US pop radio.

Gonna Be, Gonna Be Golden

The K-Pop Demon Hunters x Vans Old Skool Golden (GS) is a tribute to the biggest song from the movie, “Golden.” Featuring a gold star-studded upper with white contrast and HUNTR/X logos on the tongue, the pair follows a debut collection between the SoCal skate shoe originators and the Demon Hunters that dropped late last winter.

This time around, the Old Skool is gonna be, gonna be golden, starting with a gold leather toecap, textured stars on top, and a gold leather heel. A white upper adds rippling gold sound waves across it, with a blue denim stripe logo to match the HUNTR/X tongue logo. The grade school pair features gold laces with gold star eyelets, but the pre-school and toddler pairs switch to Velcro straps for parental ease.

The K-Pop Demon Hunters x Vans Old Skool Golden (GS) will be released July 17, 2026, through Vans and select retailers in-store, followed by an online release on July 20, 2026. Available in grade school, pre-school, and toddler sizing, the retail prices are set at $75 (GS), $60 (PS), and $55 (TD).
