Vans’ Luxury Pearlized Pack Brings Black Suede and Shiny Silver Studs to the Old Skool 36

The Vans team has been in its bag lately. Mixing classic silhouettes and colorways with a new residency at the jewelry and bead store, the SoCal skate brand has been expanding the Old Skool 36 Pearlized Pack as far as it can, and now it’s finally bringing the collection back to basics.

Simple Luxury

The Vans Old Skool 36 Pearlized Black keeps the base of the shoe as simple as possible before adding the same arching lines of pearls and silver studs as the rest of the Pearlized Old Skool pack. In addition to the black pair, a simple white colorway, a navy blue pair, and a bright multi-color Yacht Club mix join the OG colorways, revised with a set of pearls.

The black colorway follows a classic Old Skool 36 mold, with suede on the toebox, lace panel, and heel counter, and canvas covering the side panels and tongue. The laces and midsole switch to classic white, but with a dirty, weathered look that brings the pair back to Vans’ skate origins.
