Although he could only give one tribute to his former team, the Sacramento Kings, through his first signature sneaker before being traded, De’Aaron Fox is looking to his past home for his latest colorway of the Curry 1 Fox. Taking a trip down memory lane, De’Aaron is bringing us back to his time playing for the Kentucky Wildcats.
De’Aaron’s time with the Wildcats was short; he only played one season in Lexington, Kentucky, but he made a solid impact on the squad. During his one season in the NCAA, he averaged 16.7 points per game, 4.6 assists, 4 rebounds, and shot 47% from the field. He also helped the Wildcats advance to the Elite Eight in the 2017 March Madness tournament but ultimately lost to UNC by two points.

As for his tribute to his former team in Lexington, Fox covers the Curry 1 Fox in the Wildcats’ deep royal blue hue, contrasting this with hits of white on select portions of the upper. This includes the two-tone lace set, the De’Aaron Fox logo on the tongue, the fox tail-inspired lockdown strap, and the checkerboard pattern on the heel tab. Another checkerboard pattern with a tonal blue finish is applied to the forefoot strap.
We see a breathable royal blue mesh reinforced by fused TPU panels and leather for the base. Also reinforcing the upper is the TPU heel clip, featuring Fox’s signature on the medial side. The tonal UA Flow midsole is blue, and a matching UA Flow rubber outsole rounds out the design.
The Under Armour Curry Fox 1 Lexington will release on March 7, 2025, through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is $120 for men’s and $100 for GS.
