Under Armour and Curry Brand have been going all in on the galactic theme for Steph Curry’s latest signature sneaker, the Curry 12, as seen with pairs like the Gravity rendition. Following this, Curry Brand launched the Shooting Star colorway, and to our surprise, Curry had another release up his sleeve — the Under Armour Curry 6 FloTro Shooting Star.
While the Curry 12 takes on a primarily grey upper with black and white accents, this retooled version of the Curry 6 comes with a two-tone black and grey upper. The front half features leather on the toecap and a mesh base, all of which come in black, while a black leather strip separates the white mesh on the back half. More black details are found on the tongue, with the bottom portion coming in black and the lace set taking on this hue. Curry’s logo on the tongue tag is hosted within a black circular window resting on the white mesh. Back on the heel, we see a black-and-white pattern applied, representing the trail of debris that a shooting star leaves in its wake. Finishing the design is the white UA Flow midsole and a matching UA Flow outsole.
The Under Armour Curry 6 FloTro was released on November 22, 2024, and is available now through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Offered in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
