Curry Brand and Under Armour have been inspired by Steph Curry’s out-of-this-world playstyle and career, so much so that his Under Armour Curry 12 releases have all been themed around galactic motifs. Pairs have taken inspiration from shooting stars, gravity, and galaxies themselves, but now the Curry 12 has been taken over by Extraterrestrials.
The pair features a vibrant green hue as if it came straight from another planet across most of the silhouette, featured primarily on the engineered mesh base layer. Suede reinforcements along the medial toe and lateral midfoot help with stability and structure, contrasting the alien green hues with their black finish. More black hits come on the Steph Curry-branded tongue tag, the two-tone green and black lace set, and the black suede on the heel counter.
Marbled green patterns are applied to the molded TPU heel counter and the TPU insert within the UA Flow midsole, which also hosts more Curry logos. The UA Flow outsole, which matches the alien green hue of the upper and midsole, finishes the design.
The Under Armour Curry 12 Extraterrestrial will release on December 13, 2024, through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s, GS, and PS sizing, the retail price is $140, $100, and $90, respectively.
