With the US Open officially underway this week, footwear brands across the industry have prepped sneakers and apparel to coincide with one of the most prominent tournaments on the PGA Tour. Skechers, which 3G Capital recently acquired in a $9.42 billion deal, celebrates the event with a player-exclusive colorway of the GO Golf Blade GF for Matt Fitzpatrick.
Inspired by the US Open itself and Oakmont Country Club, the course that has hosted 10 different US Opens, the pair’s white, red, and navy color palette directly references the official colors of the 2025 tournament. White is applied to most of the waterproof upper, while navy accents hit the Skechers logos on the lateral heel and medial midfoot. More navy is found on the top portion of the sole unit, transitioning into red as you move towards the toe.

The insole offers an even more overt nod to Oakmont by including a custom dime graphic. The dime itself is from 1927, the year that the club first hosted the event, but the real connection comes from a famous quote by golf legend Sam Snead about the course’s slick greens: “I put a dime down to mark my ball, and the dime slid away.” The final tribute to Oakmont is the custom tonal graphic on the outer heel, representing the Church Pews bunkers. The Resamax and ECOFLIGHT-cushioned sole unit finishes the design with a GRIPFLEX spikeless TPU outsole.
The Skechers GO GOLF Blade GF Matt Fitzpatrick PE is available today, June 10, 2025, through Skechers online. Offered in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $165.
