As the trend of mesh runners continues to be at the forefront of sneaker culture, brands and collaborators have no plans to slow down by dropping different versions of these silhouettes. One label that has emerged seemingly out of nowhere for the new generation of sneakerheads is Saucony, which has masterfully built hype and allure around models like the ProGrid Omni 9 with various collabs and clean GR colors. Adding to the model’s collaborative history is a new project with European-based retailer Footpatrol.
Clashing vibrant blues and chocolate brown hues define Footpatrol’s take on the ProGrid Omni 9, with cream and black helping ground the model. Canvas-like materials along the mudguard and collar come in this chocolate hue, extending the shade to the heel’s leather overlay. For its base, we see a mixture of materials and colors, ranging from a dark black mesh on the toe to a gradient blue mesh on the midfoot and a blue patent leather on the collar.
Helping reinforce the sneaker are TPU panels on the midfoot, coming in a black that contrasts the white Saucony logo, and on the heel, with a cracked black and blue pattern applied below the Omni 9 branding. Footpatrol makes its presence known via a debossed logo on the brown tongue and a stamped logo on the blue insole. Down below, the model comes with a mixture of vintage cream, sky blue, and dark blue on the midsole and a tonal outsole.
The Footpatrol x Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 will release sometime in 2025 exclusively via Footpatrol online and in-store. As of this writing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
