When it comes to A$AP Rocky and Rihanna, it’s a family affair at Puma. The superstar couple both have their own lines of sneakers and sportswear with the Big Cat, and in his latest design effort, Rocky pulled out a slimy textured midsole that looks like it's in the middle of being overtaken by the Spider-Man villain Venom.
Starting with black suede on the toecap and the side panels above the stripe logo, the Puma branding is done in cream-colored suede, before the rest of the shoe transitions to red suede under the logo swoop and around the heel. The unique part comes from the texture popping up off the midsole. The lower third of the shoe is covered in globs of gloopy black rubber, like an oil spill off the side of the shoe.
