Every week, atmos, the Japanese-based sneaker boutique, seems to be developing a new project in the footwear world. Recent teases and collabs include the Deep Sea New Balance 1906D Protection Pack, a new Asics GT-2160, and the glow-in-the-dark Asics Gel-Kayano 14 release. Following their three-way collab on the Puma Palermo with Baggage Coffee in early November, atmos is again teaming up with Puma on the Palermo sneaker to honor the RPG game Persona 3 Reloaded.
Taking on a color palette reminiscent of the combat uniforms that appear in the series, we see a white and black finish with pops of red accents. On the profile, running across the white leather panels and the black leather formstrip is the phrase “Mass Destruction,” which is the title of the song used during many battle sequences in the game.
