While LaMelo Ball’s signature sneaker line with Puma has primarily centered around performance basketball offerings, we’ve seen the youngest of the Ball brothers enter the lifestyle space through the LaFrance brand. First from LaFrance and Puma was the aptly named Puma LaFrance, which took inspiration from Y2K chunky skate shoes and high-fashion models from the likes of Lanvin. Next up for the LaFrance Puma connection is a mesh runner dubbed the LaFrance RNR.
Seen here in the Flare colorway, the model is coated primarily in tan hues with a multi-color topographic pattern applied to the mesh base. Orange accents line the perforated leather panel on the midfoot, featuring circular cutouts, a wavy placement, and organically shaped cutouts on the bottom half. LaFrance branding is integrated into a panel around the lacing setup, while more logos for the label find a home on the tongue tag and heel. Down below sits a tonal tan foam midsole that continues the organic design language.
The Puma LaFrance RNR Flare releases August 1, 2025, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is set at $120 and $100, respectively.
