Puma’s made some strides in the performance running market with new silhouettes like the Deviate Nitro 3, MagMax Nitro, and Fast-R Nitro Elite 2. However, the brand introduced what is arguably their best “super shoe” with the Fast-RB Nitro Elite last year, releasing only 1,000 pairs of the rule-breaking silhouette. The unconventional performance runner is now in a brand-new Yellow Alert Pure Magenta colorway.
Utilizing Puma’s most advanced foam tech, NITRO Foam, the silhouette comes with a 58mm thick slab of cushioning, making it 18mm above regulations for competitive running. The mesh base is reinforced with PWRTAPE throughout and coated mainly in a white palette for its upper upper. Pops of pure magenta are on the lateral embroidered Formstrip, and the fused TPU Puma logo is on the medial side.

The star of the show is the chunky sole unit, which features a gradient magenta and yellow alert color scheme that transitions between the two shades throughout the midsole. For added propulsion, three PWRPLATE shank plates are included within the sole unit, helping push you forward with each stride. The grippy rubber outsole finishes the sneaker using Puma’s PUMAGRIP tech for multi-surface traction.
The Puma Fast-RB Nitro Elite Yellow Alert Pure Magenta will release on January 25, 2025, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $350.
