The day finally came, and the latest Nike Pegasus model, the Air Pegasus Premium, officially hit shelves on Nike’s website and across select retailers. Reception seems to have been solid as this Airscape rendition is essentially sold out in men’s sizing on Nike’s website, but of course, there are already other options to look forward to if you missed out. On top of the already-revealed Atmosphere and Ghost Persian Violet colorways, the silhouette has just appeared in Black Metallic Silver.
Like other pairs of the Peg Premium, this rendition splits its upper between a tighter woven mesh and a breathable circular knit mesh, separated by a dark grey fused TPU overlay—metallic silver on the Swoosh along the lateral midfoot contrasts the dark grey and black shades surrounding it. Moving up, the eyestays, tongue, and pull tab are primarily coated in black, with the eyestays featuring a hit of crimson.

Here, Nike pays homage to its first-ever physical retail location, which dates back to 1967, when the brand went by Blue Ribbon Sports. Below these coordinates sits metallic silver Zoom Air branding, split between the left and right shoe, while the medial collar plays host to a small metallic silver Swoosh. Finally, the upper is finished with a pegasus wing-laden tag on the heel.
The star of the show here is the stacked sole unit, which features an all-new technology for Nike — sculpted Zoom Air. A full-length Air unit sits between the slab of ReactX cushioning in the heel and the full-length ZoomX foam. Both foams have a black finish to match the grippy rubber outsole, while the Zoom Air unit features a bright crimson finish.
The Nike Air Pegasus Premium Black Metallic Silver will release on March 5, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is $210.
