The Y2K trend cycle has hit every sneaker brand in the industry, but there’s still a little room left for some late ‘90s heat. Nike brought back the cult-classic Christian Tresser-designed Zoom Spiridon at the end of 2024, and the retro runner has been running under the radar ever since, despite dropping in a handful of quality inline releases throughout 2025. The latest Spiridon may not be the most hyped shoe of the month, but it is the kind of clean comfort real heads love.
The Nike Zoom Air Spiridon Photon Dust Fir starts with a white upper split between canvas on the bottom half and mesh on the top half, split by two stripes of subtle blue and grey stitching. The border stitching continues around the lace protection panel and around the edge of the tongue, adding a subtle hint of color to the white upper. Fir green is added on the mini Swoosh on the toe and as a stitched outline on the side panel Swoosh for more color without making it overwhelming. A white midsole and a gum outsole complete the colorway with a classic look underfoot.

Nike has brought Spiridon retros back a few times since its original 1997 debut, most notably in the OG Sport Red colorway. This year, Nike has brought some experimentation to the silhouette, dropping a fuchsia colorway with a fuzzy Swoosh and a Barely Volt colorway with a hot punch pink Swoosh. This colorway and an upcoming Off Noir rendition appear to be the last Spiridon on the release calendar for quite some time.
The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Photon Dust Fir will be released Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170. To keep up with every new Nike release, make sure to download Sole Retriever's mobile app.
