If you’ve ever picked up EA Sports’ FIFA video game (now EA Sports FC), you’ll know how intense and frustrating the game can be. Even more intense than a living room battle between friends and family is an online match. We’ve all experienced moments (even if you don’t want to admit it) where rage quitting happens online, whether that's you or your opponent. Immortalizing this infamous gaming moment is a new collaboration between Nike’s web3 division .SWOOSH and NSW on the Nike Total 90 III.
A two-tone black and apple green color palette is applied to the upper, with the quilted leather toe, lateral midfoot, and lateral heel overlay all done up in black. Over on the medial side, we see metallic apple green leather used on the collar, heel tab, and midfoot. The signature circular overlay with the number “90” is on the medial side, done here in black and silver with a green cracked effect.
This green cracked detail is also on the insole, referencing rage quitting. A message prompt in white and red reads, “Your opponent has forfeited the match,” alongside a .SWOOSH logo. Completing the upper are the silver Swoosh logos on the toe and lateral midfoot and the Total 90 III text on the tongue and lateral heel. Below sits a black and white midsole and outsole.
The .SWOOSH x Nike Total 90 III Quit The Rage will release in Fall 2025. Exactly how .SWOOSH will release the pair is a mystery, as they’ve done special releases tied to .SWOOSH accounts and minigame experiences, offered pairs for pre-order, and have done standard Nike SNKRS releases.
