Online chatter about Nike’s product quality control should be prefaced by the fact that it is a multi-billion-dollar company that produces millions of sneakers overseas. You just can’t make every single sneaker to the highest degree of quality when you’re pumping out millions and millions of sneakers. However, Nike reserves a select few products to an ultra-high standard, like its soccer cleats made in Montebelluna, Italy. Following a wine-inspired colorway of the Tiempo Legend 10 Elite Luxe, the pair has emerged in a white snakeskin colorway.
Being made in Italy already brings an elevated status to any sneaker, but to be made in Montebelluna is a whole other level. The city is well-known for its footwear manufacturing, and many brands use the factories in the area for specialized and elite athletic footwear. Nike specifically has a team of craftsmen who make custom cleats for soccer’s top stars, producing sneakers in 1/4 and 3/4 sizes for precise fits.
We may not be getting THAT level of customization and craftsmanship with this pair, but the new Teimpo Legend 10 Elite Luxe in White is uber-premium. A faux snakeskin print is applied to the white leather upper, which itself comes with a quilted finish on the toe for help with ball handling. More of the faux reptile skin motif is found on the metallic silver Swoosh on the lateral midfoot, passing by a small Italian flag located near the knit collar. Finishing the design is the Legend Tiempo branding on the heel tab, Made in Montebelluna logos on the insole, and a cream-colored Zoom Air cushioned cleated sole unit.
The Nike Tiempo Legend 10 Elite Luxe Made in Italy White will release Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $265.
