The legendary Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho made a massive impact not only for his country on the international stage and his various clubs, but also for Nike. His entire playing career was full of highlights, all while wearing Nike, who signed the young star in the early stages of his professional career. Now, Nike is recalling an ultra-limited Nike Tiempo Legend V with an off-the-pitch version of the boot.
Inspiration for the pair comes from an iconic 2005 advertisement starring Ronaldinho. In this ad spot, which was the very first YouTube video to surpass 1 million views, R10 laces up a pair of white and gold Tiempo cleats. After dribbling the ball and showing off his skills, he begins to take shots at the goal, rebounding shots off the post without letting the ball hit the pitch.
