Nike is slithering into the fall season with a new collection of Día de los Muertos colorways for the holiday, and this year, the brand is lighting candles for one of the NBA’s greatest legends gone too soon, Kobe Bryant. Staying true to the holiday, Nike is celebrating Kobe’s legacy with flowers and bright colors on three themed pairs.
Debuting under the moniker Mamba Eternos, the Spanish translation of Mamba Forever, the collection kicked off with previews of a Nike Kobe 3 Protro Low. To round it out, the collection is keeping up Nike’s annual holiday tradition with pairs of the Nike Dunk Low and Kobe AD Protro in the same shade of festive orange.

The Nike Kobe AD Protro is the latest pair from the pack, mixing shades of Laser Orange and Safety Orange across the mesh upper. Starting with the brighter shade of Laser Orange on the mesh base, the back half of the midsole, Swoosh, sockliner, and sheath logo all switch to Safety Orange for a deeper shade of sunshine.
The Nike Kobe AD Protro Mamba Eterno will be released October 30, 2026, through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $155. To keep up with all the latest Día de Los Muertos sneaker news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
