The Boston Celtics hope to mount a comeback against the New York Knicks in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. However, they’re missing their biggest star in Jayson Tatum after he tore his Achilles in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. That means the team will have to rely on other stars, like Jrue Holiday, who have played pivotal roles in the Celtics’ success thus far. Fans of Boston and Holiday will be happy to hear that the PE Nike GT Cut 3 Turbo he has sported throughout the season will be released to the public later this year.
Unlike the standard Nike GT Cut 3, the Turbo variant, which debuted during NBA All-Star Weekend under Nike Basketball’s Black Label Collection, features an updated upper with molded synthetic paneling and mesh details. Jrue’s take on the sneaker comes primarily in an alabaster hue, accented by blue hues on the toe and Celtics green on the tongue, lace aglets, and Swoosh. Holiday’s number 4 is placed on the lateral heel atop a mesh panel, while we see more nods to the Celtics star on the inside of the tongue.

Technical features from the GT Cut 3 remain, like the faux carbon fiber plate near the lateral toe for reinforcement, and, of course, the tooling setup. Here, we see a full-length ZoomX foam rendered in green, embedded within an alabaster foam midsole and a light semi-translucent gum outsole.
The Jrue Holiday x Nike GT Cut 3 Turbo PE will release on August 28, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $200.
