Nike’s First Sight collection is exactly what women in the sneakerhead space have been waiting for. Designed to shape the future of women’s sneakers with an eye towards the future, a retro vibe, and dress shoe influences. Of the First Sight’s first three debut silhouettes, the Shadow is the most familiar, bringing some Foamposite energy to the collection.
Red Shadows
The Nike First Sight Shadow Light Crimson is the latest pair from the silhouette that started with Black, Grey, and Blue colorways, adding one of Beaverton’s favorite red shades to the wavy armored upper. Featuring Light Crimson on the entire Foamposite-inspired one-piece panel, with circular indentations running up the toe and around the heel.
The colorway switches to black on the keyhole-shaped toebox and the slip-on bootie for a two-tone look. Like past Shadow colorways, the Light Crimson pair brings a grid of gems to the bubbled panel at the lateral heel, this time in silver to match the mini Swoosh at the toe.
