The NFL season is still a few months out, but that hasn’t stopped Nike from prepping new footwear to celebrate the game. Outside of the upcoming NFL and NCAA Pegasus 41 collections, The Swoosh is prepping to honor the gridiron through a Nike Field General. The Field General is an archival silhouette once found on the field that has found new life in the lifestyle realm, commemorating the culture of football.
A vintage-inspired color palette of Light British Tan, cream, royal blue, and red coats the silhouette, with the suede panels on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay coming in tan. An open-spaced mesh in cream is present on the base and midfoot, while the heel overlay and Swoosh come in red and royal blue, respectively.

The word Nike is stamped on the heel tab in a vintage collegiate-inspired font outlined in gold. The hang tag has more gold details, depicting two hands together like a wide receiver catching a football. The red Nike text on the cream woven tongue label and the tonal lace set finish the upper. Below is a gum rubber midsole and outsole.
The Nike Field General Culture of Football will release in July 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $115.
