A whole new generation of sneakerheads is discovering just how deep Deion Sanders’ history with Nike is after Primetime and The Swoosh made amends in 2023. Since bringing back the DT Max 96, Nike has delved deeper into the Sanders archives by bringing back his first sneaker, the Diamond Turf, in 2025. Coinciding with most of the Diamond Turf launches is a cleated version of the sneaker for use on the football field, as is the case with the upcoming Emerald colorway.
While we will have a shot at this OG colorway from 1994 at the end of August, a cleated version of the Nike Air Diamond Turf Emerald is also launching in the coming weeks. This cleated rendition removes the emerald green graphic pattern on the tongue in favor of a black mesh, though the rest of the sneaker is essentially the same. White leather runs from the toe back to the heel, passing by the white lockdown strap and gold mesh cutout.

The emerald green Swoosh remains on the lockdown strap, while Prime branding on the tongue is done in a mixture of white and emerald green. The same heel setup from the non-cleat version is present, as a nylon lace loop in emerald green and golden Nike embroidery finds a home on the white and black leather paneling. Down below, the sole unit is removed in favor of a cleated finish in black and emerald green.
The Nike Diamond Turf 93 TD Cleat Emerald will release Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
